Garage Gym Chronicles: 11/22/2024 Training Log. Legs

Nice little session between clients at home.

Ex 1: Bulgarian split squats-10/10, 8/8, 6/6

Ex 2: offset kettlebell calf raise-15/15, 15/15, 15/15

Ex 3: single leg RDL-10/10, 10/10

Ex 4: reverse lunges-8/8, 6/6

Ex 5: leg curls-15,12,10

Total time = 40 minutes

I supersetted exercises 1 & 2 and 3 & 4. Since they're all unilateral exercises I did it as follows:

Bulgarian split squats right leg, rest a minute. Offset kettlebell calf raise with weight in right hand.

Bulgarian split squat left leg, rest a minute. Offset kettlebell calf raise with weight in left hand.

Repeat for 3 sets.

Calves don't take anything away from the quads and glutes, so it was a nice way to superset and save time.

I was not planning to superset lunges and single leg RDLs, but, I realized I was more crunched for time then expected, so I used the following format for 2 sets:

Single leg RDL right leg, rest a minute. Reverse lunges (right leg planted/forward position).

Single leg RDL left leg, rest a minute. Reverse lunges (left leg planted/forward position).

It was a glute and thigh burner.

Have a great weekend, for those who celebrate weekends.
